Protection – and a new home! – for Rocky

Rocky

It is breeding season in Bangladesh and each nursing dog has several puppies to feed. Sadly, not all mother dogs are able to cope with the demands of so many puppies and, at times, puppies are lost or abandoned.

We found little Rocky alone and clearly frightened with no owners, mother or litter around him.
After removing a tight piece of thread caught around his neck that was making it hard for him to breathe, we vaccinated him and then asked the villagers if anyone would be willing to adopt him.

A woman named Delwar said she’d be happy too: “I like dogs and so will be happy to feed, water and love him.”
