- Educational Event Showcases Mobile Clinics’ Work in Sri Lanka
The Blue Paw Trust, operating in the eastern coast of Sri Lanka, showcased the amazing work of WSPA-supported veterinary clinics during a four day educational event in Ampara. The two mobile clinics demonstrated how they are able to deliver affordable medical care to animals in tsunami affected areas both on the east and west coasts.

- AACL Celebrate 50 Years of Work
In 1956 the Animal Cruelty League (AACL) was founded to oppose rodeos. With less than £5 in the kitty, they began rescuing and treating animals. At this time, they also worked with abused women and children, but it soon became apparent that their main focus was to be animals only.
