Typhoon Haiyan: What you help us achieve

Typhoon Haiyan made landfall in the Philippines as one of the strongest typhoons on record, leaving a path of destruction.  Despite country-wide preparedness, the event quickly overwhelmed communities and disrupted infrastructure and services.

To thank you for your support, our disaster response team have put together a short film to show what you're helping us to achieve. Check it out below:

Our teams traveled to the Philippines to provide a rapid assessment of the animal welfare need and to implement an intervention to help both the animals and communities reliant on them for livelihoods and companionship.

So far, we've assisted more than 17,400 animals, including cattle, pigs, dogs and poultry across Cebu, Panay and Leyte. More animals will be helped as our teams continue to work with the worst affected communities.

Without your support, none of this would be possible.

Read our Animals in Disaster blog for the latest news from the Philippines.
