The survey, which launched in March, asks participants to choose the six issues that matter most to them. The results, which will be shared with world leaders in May, will determine how the world deals with important issues such as poverty, food security, climate change, economic growth and the sustainable use of the world’s resources.
But what does that mean for animals?
We know that helping animals helps people. Over 1 billion of the world’s poorest people depend on animals for jobs, food, income, transport, social status and cultural identification. Healthy animals are crucial to the survival and opportunities of whole communities.
What can you do?
You can show world leaders that animal welfare matters to you by suggesting “better animal protection” as a priority issue. All you need to do is:
• Go to the My World Survey
• Choose six out of 16 possible issues which matter the most to you and your family
• Scroll to the bottom of the list and suggest your own priority. This is where you add
“better animal protection”.
We know that better animal protection can help to make a better world and with your help we can show world leaders.
Make sure you vote now and have your say.
